Now learn the ruling
A condition is something that must be present for a ruling to become binding or for an act to be valid, while not being a part of the act itself. Hanafi fiqh therefore distinguishes conditions of obligation from conditions of validity in wudu. Conditions of obligation answer the question: when does wudu become required from a person? matters such as sanity, maturity, Islam, ability to use enough pure and purifying water, the presence of hadath, being free from menstruation and postnatal bleeding, and the relevant prayer-time condition.
