Qist Maktab · Islamic Studies · Class 7
Wudu and ghusl are acts of worship, and their rulings include appropriate concessions for genuine difficulty. A traveller may struggle to find usable water; someone who is ill may have medical reasons to avoid washing an injured area. Islam does not demand that we endanger our health to maintain routine. The rules for tayammum, wiping over a permitted dressing or footwear, and treating ongoing difficulties require careful instruction.
We should never diagnose a classmate or invent a personal ruling. Describe the situation accurately to a guardian and qualified teacher, and seek medical advice where harm is possible. Practise recognising an actual obstacle and distinguishing it from ordinary inconvenience. Purity should bring dignity and ease, not fear, unsafe experiments or unnecessary waste of water.
