The Prophet ﷺ connected purification with faith. Ritual purity prepares us for Salah, while personal cleanliness and care for shared spaces express respect and responsibility. These ideas are linked but are not identical: the legal requirements of wudu and ghusl should be learned separately from the helpful everyday habit of keeping clothes, hands and surroundings clean.
We can create a practical cleanliness timetable for our school: safe handwashing, keeping the prayer area tidy, using waste bins and protecting shared water sources. Cleanliness must not become a reason to shame a pupil who needs help or has limited access to supplies. We can offer care discreetly and avoid wasting water. Here, tahur refers centrally to religious purification, including wudu; personal and environmental hygiene are related applications, not an identical legal definition of ritual purity.
