A Hadith teaches that Allah is pure and accepts what is pure. Good intentions matter, and the ways we earn, obtain and give should also be lawful and honest. A generous-looking act does not become right merely because it is labelled charity: taking another person’s property without permission and donating it cannot be excused as kindness.
For a school fundraiser, we should tell people its real purpose, obtain permission, keep accurate records and use donations as promised. A small honest contribution is better than a large amount obtained by deception. This lesson connects worship, fairness and financial responsibility without asking children to make private judgements about another family’s earnings.
