01

Learn the main idea

Wealth is a trust that should be earned lawfully and spent responsibly. Contentment means resisting greed, not abandoning work or neglecting dependants.

02

A deeper explanation

Islam treats wealth as a resource for lawful livelihood and social responsibility. It should be acquired without deception, used without waste and shared through obligations and voluntary generosity. Qana'ah, contentment, means freedom from consuming greed; it does not require abandoning work or ignoring dependants' needs. Gratitude and accountability shape both earning and spending.
