Prophets convey divine revelation truthfully. Miracles are extraordinary signs granted by Allah, and prophetic claims must be evaluated through evidence.
Human reason can establish some truths and recognise moral responsibilities, but it does not independently supply every detail of worship, revelation or the hereafter. Prophets communicate Allah's guidance. The theological study of prophethood asks how truthful messengers are recognised, what miracles signify and how claims are transmitted. A miracle is an extraordinary sign granted by Allah in support of a prophet, not an independent magical ability. Sound evidence and careful transmission matter when examining reports of miracles.
