Each of You Is a Shepherd

The Prophet ﷺ described people as guardians responsible for those in their care. Leadership is service and accountability, not unlimited authority.

The Prophet ﷺ compared those entrusted with responsibility to shepherds answerable for their care. The hadith addresses leaders and people responsible for households and other duties. Authority is an amanah, a trust, and must be exercised for others' welfare rather than personal privilege. A responsible person listens, protects the vulnerable and acknowledges mistakes. Students can apply the principle to school projects and shared resources.
