Allah's knowledge is not acquired, His power is not limited by weakness, and His will and life are unlike created qualities.
The divine attributes of knowledge, power, will and life are attributes of perfection. Allah's knowledge does not increase through learning and is not subject to forgetting. Divine power is not limited by fatigue, and will is not a physical impulse. Life, when affirmed of Allah, is not biological life dependent on food, organs or time. Classical Sunni schools articulate the relationship between the divine essence and attributes in precise ways, while rejecting the claim that Allah resembles created beings.
