Qist Maktab · Islamic Studies · Class 7
After the first period of inviting people quietly, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ proclaimed the message openly in Makkah. He called people to worship Allah alone and warned against injustice and false objects of worship. Some listeners accepted Islam while influential opponents feared changes to the beliefs and social practices to which they were attached. The earliest Muslims therefore needed courage and patience.
The public call was not permission to insult people or force belief. The Prophet ﷺ presented his message through proclamation, reasoning and steadfast conduct. We learn to distinguish an account recorded in the Qur’an from details known through the books of Seerah. A helpful timeline moves from the first revelation to the early invitations and then to the public proclamation, without inventing exact dates for uncertain events. This lesson follows the first revelation and early private invitation studied in the detailed Class 6 Makkan sequence; it is the next stage of the same historical study.
