During his youth in Makkah, Muhammad ﷺ became known for trustworthy dealings. The title al-Amin means “the trustworthy one.” Early Sirah also records a pact called Hilf al-Fudul, formed to support people whose rights were denied in Makkah. The Prophet ﷺ remembered the value of such an agreement. These accounts show that integrity and protecting the wronged matter in community life.
On a text-only event board, separate two ideas: an individual earns trust by repeated truthful conduct, while a fair agreement allows people to work together against injustice. If a visiting merchant is treated unfairly, our response should be based on evidence and basic rights, not the merchant’s family, language or social standing. The Qur’anic verse below gives moral support; it is not a claim that it narrates the historical pact.
