Look at the changing day and night, clouds bringing water and seeds growing into plants. Each invites us to observe carefully and recognise Allah’s wisdom and power. The Qur’an calls such features of the world signs for people who reflect. Studying nature also teaches us the practical processes through which living things grow and ecosystems function.
A sign is not an excuse to make unsupported scientific claims or ignore evidence. We can record observations, compare seasons and learn how to care for water and soil. Wonder should lead to knowledge, gratitude and responsible care for the world entrusted to us.
