Near the age of forty, Muhammad ﷺ spent time in reflection at the cave of Hira. The first revelation began there with the command “Read in the name of your Lord who created.” Authentic reports describe his return from that powerful experience and the reassurance given by Khadijah رضي الله عنها. Revelation was not a human invention or an ordinary classroom lesson: it was the beginning of his prophetic mission.
The earliest call to Islam took place first among close, trusted people, before the message was proclaimed publicly. We can arrange a careful chronology: retreat and first revelation, Khadijah’s support, initial believers and the gradual widening of the call. Do not invent conversations or show the Prophet ﷺ or Angel Jibril in pictures; a text-only cave, Qur’anic manuscript motif and timeline are suitable.
