Allah created us with a meaningful purpose: to know Him and worship Him. Worship is not limited to prayer. We worship Allah by obeying Him, doing good deeds sincerely, telling the truth and caring for the people around us. Our everyday choices can become acts of worship when they are lawful and made with a good intention.
Salah, fasting and reciting the Qur’an train our hearts, while honesty and service show the effect of faith on our actions. We should learn the difference between worship directed only to Allah and kindness offered to His creation. Both matter, but we must not worship anyone besides Allah.
