In 10 AH, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ performed the pilgrimage known as the Farewell Hajj. Large numbers of Muslims learned its rites through his teaching and example. The pilgrimage brings believers to sacred places and trains them in remembrance, discipline and equality before Allah.
We can learn its outline on a simple map: preparation and ihram, the stay at Arafat, other established rites and completion of Hajj. Details of ritual order are taught by qualified guides, and children should not mistake this overview for a full legal manual. The event also shows the Prophet’s care to teach his community before his passing.
