Travel can change our routine, but salah remains important. Islamic law gives travellers special concessions so that worship is manageable even away from home.
For a qualifying traveller, four-rak'ah obligatory prayers are shortened to two rak'ahs. Fajr remains two and Maghrib remains three. A traveller should learn when the legal rules of travel begin and end from a teacher or reliable fiqh source.
