Hadith Jibril integrates Islam's outward duties, iman's beliefs and ihsan's inward excellence. These are connected aspects of one religion.
Hadith Jibril presents Islam, iman and ihsan in one teaching encounter. Islam includes outward acts such as prayer and fasting; iman concerns beliefs such as Allah, angels and the Last Day; ihsan means worshipping Allah with awareness of His presence and knowledge. The hadith also teaches humility regarding the timing of the Hour. These dimensions complement each other and show that religion includes conduct, conviction and spiritual excellence.
