Text
قال العلماء:
المنطق ميزان الفكر.Logic is the scale by which correct and incorrect thinking are distinguished.
Explanation
Allah has honoured mankind with the gift of intellect. Through the intellect we learn, understand, analyse and make decisions. However, the human mind is not free from mistakes. People may believe false information, misunderstand evidence, or reach incorrect conclusions. Logic was developed to discipline the process of thinking. It does not replace intelligence. Rather, it teaches us how to use our intelligence correctly.
Why is Logic Important?
Without rules, thinking becomes random.
Random thinking leads to weak arguments and poor decisions.
Logic helps us:
• understand correctly
• reason correctly
• avoid contradictions
• evaluate evidence
• distinguish truth from falsehood
Real-Life Example
Imagine a student hears: 'This medicine cured my friend. Therefore it will cure everyone.'
A logical thinker asks:
• Was the illness the same?
• Was the treatment the same?
• Is there scientific evidence?
Instead of accepting the claim immediately, he examines the evidence.
