Selected sentence translationDawn began to appear over the vast desert, and the sky was clear except for thin streaks of cloud. The color of the sand changed from darkness to gold, and the shadows of the hills stretched long across the ground. A cool breeze blew and moved the tips of the small plants. In the distance, still mountains appeared as though guarding the horizon. There was no noise in the place, only a deep calm that made the observer feel the vastness of creation. As the sun rose, the desert filled with light and a new day began.
