The Muslims in Makkah faced severe persecution because of their faith. After years of patience, Allah permitted the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the Muslims to migrate to Madinah.
The Hijrah was not an escape from responsibility. It was a move to protect faith, build a Muslim community and continue the mission of Islam in a safer place.
