Sabr means remaining steady in what is right. We need patience to continue good habits, to stop ourselves from doing wrong, and to stay balanced when something difficult happens.
Patience does not mean doing nothing. We make the best lawful effort we can, ask Allah for help and avoid giving up or reacting badly.
