Mercy, Conflict and Reconciliation

Mercy is not the denial of wrongdoing. Reconciliation requires hearing parties fairly, protecting vulnerable people and repairing harm where possible. Forgiveness can be virtuous without abolishing others' rights or necessary safeguards.
