Hanafi legal method: identify the parties, legal capacity, operative words or acts, conditions of validity, legal consequences and exceptions. In Hanafi law, begin with the facts. What happened, who is affected, and which conditions change the ruling? A general scriptural principle is not the same as a complete legal decision.
