In Hanafi commercial law, a sale transfers ownership of a lawful, identifiable item for an agreed price. Offer and acceptance express contractual agreement. The subject must be capable of lawful sale and generally deliverable, while the price must be sufficiently known to avoid serious disputes. Consent obtained through deception is ethically defective, and ownership or authority to sell must be examined. A contract may look informal yet still have binding legal effects; not every online 'click' automatically settles all jurisprudential questions.
